For families

The person overpaying is often not the one who notices.

A lot of people manage prescriptions for someone else — a parent, a spouse, an adult child. SlashedRx is built so one membership covers every prescription you are keeping an eye on, not one at a time.

What people actually use this for.

Your own prescriptions

Check what you pay for each medication you fill regularly, and find out whether a cheaper legitimate route exists for that exact drug, strength and quantity.

A parent paying too much

Older adults are the people most likely to be quoted a high price and least likely to be told there is another way to pay. If you help a parent with their prescriptions, you can check each one here.

Several prescriptions at once

Most households are not managing one medication, they are managing five. Save each one and this becomes a single page showing what every prescription costs and what it could cost.

Medications that change price

Cash prices move and program rules change. Your saved medications keep the last figures we found, so re-checking one is a single click rather than filling the form in again.

One membership. Every prescription.

SlashedRx charges per account, not per medication. Whether you are watching one prescription or nine, it is the same $9.99 a month.

  • Save as many medications as you need
  • One membership covers every one of them, at no extra cost
  • One page showing what all of them cost
  • Re-check any of them in one click when something changes

What this does not include

So nobody subscribes expecting something that is not here:

  • No separate logins for family members

Everything you track sits in your own account. There is no invitation to send and no shared password.

  • No access to anyone else’s records

SlashedRx has no connection to a pharmacy, insurer, or medical record. You enter what you know, the same as for yourself.

  • No medical advice, for anyone

We price the medication that was already prescribed. We never suggest switching, stopping, or changing a dose — for you or for the person you care for.

Someone else's prescriptions deserve the same care as your own.

We ask for the least we can: the drug, the strength, the quantity, what is being paid, and a ZIP code. No diagnosis, no date of birth, no insurance member number, no prescriber. The safest record is the one never collected.

Your medication searches are private. We never sell your search history and never send medication names to advertising networks. How we handle your data.

Start with the prescription that costs the most.

Searching is free and takes about ten seconds, and works for any prescription medication — not a list of the ones we happen to have added.

Check a price

SlashedRx provides medication pricing and savings information and does not provide medical advice. Never change or stop a prescribed medication without speaking with your healthcare professional.
